Chi Kung/Qi gong

 

What is Chi Kung?

Chi Kung (also spelled Qigong) is a powerful system of healing and energy medicine from China. It is an ancient practice going back 4000 years. Much like Yoga, Chi Kung is the art and science of using breathing techniques, gentle movement, and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate the life energy (chi/qi).
 

Classes/Workshops

There are many different types and over 2000 separate schools of Chi Kung. Zhineng Chi Kung which means Wisdom Healing Chi Kung, is the focus of classes/workshops. It is easy to learn and can be practiced by all ages. Each session will include warm up exercises to gently open the joints to increase flexibility and get your energy moving. Followed by a moving meditation that allows you to feel more connected to your body and the world around you. These soothing movements will leave you feeling at peace and uplifted.
